Hello there, world. My name’s Emma Kate, and it’s really lovely to meet you.

I suppose you’ll get to know my quirks and ambiguities through the posts to come, so I won’t introduce myself in detail just yet. Let’s get to know each other slowly… There’s something more intriguing and mysterious about that.

This website project has been a long time in the dreaming (the making part wasn’t so long). A far off vision and on of those ‘rainy day’ maybes… and therein lay the problem, because it always seemed to be sunny! Or in clearer English, life got in the way, and I let it.

So I dedicate this first post to a lovely man, Jonathon Fisher, whom I had the pleasure of interviewing in Sydney recently for work. Jono encouraged me to get my voice out in the world a little bolder and louder, and here I am. Jono’s the man behind a social experiment called ‘Wake Up Sydney!’ It’s a platform for social change, encouraging a more kind, conscious and sustainable world – check it out here.
